Safeguarding

  • At Ladock School, the health, safety and well-being of all children is of paramount importance. Parents send their children to school each day with the expectation that our school provides a secure environment in which their children can flourish.
  • Every school must ensure that there are named members of staff who are responsible for seeking advice and liaising with external agencies, should a concern arise regarding the safety of a child.
  • The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is: Mr Chris Stoyles
  • The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are: Mrs Mary Stevenson and Mrs Julie Gilbert
  • The governor with responsibility for Safeguarding is: Mrs Rachel Carbis
  • The designated teacher with responsibility for children in care and previously in care is: Mr Chris Stoyles
  • The Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Prevent agenda is: Mr Chris Stoyles
  • The Child Sexual Exploitation Lead is: Mr Chris Stoyles
  • The named Whistleblowing Governor is: Mr Peter Wooton

Parents and carers must inform a member of staff if there is any concern about a child at our school.
