In line with Government guidance, we are happy to say that Ladock school reopened to all children on Monday 8th March. Please remember, restrictions are still in place and visits to our school site must not be made without prior arrangement. Thank you for your understanding.

Should my Child Self Isolate?

If anyone in school becomes unwell with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature, or has a loss of, or change in, their normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia), they will be sent home and be advised to follow the guidance for households with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
This sets out that they must:
Self-isolate for at least 10 days
Arrange to have a test to see if they have coronavirus (COVID-19)
If the child's test result is negative, they may return to school
If the child's test result is positive, they should follow the 'Stay at Home: Guidance for Households'
Symptomatic Child at Home
Please follow the 'Stay at Home: Guidance for Households' and inform the school by telephone or email if your child is undertaking a period of self isolation pending a test result.
