Collective Worship

Collective Worship is at the heart of our day. On a Friday morning we worship in church using a service devised and led by the year 6 children.  During this service we give out our weekly awards and celebrate our achievements.  Every fortnight we have an Open the Book story also.
Throughout the rest of the week, Collective Worship takes places either in the church as a whole school or individually in classrooms. These will be led by staff, either in person or via video, and variety of visitors including local clergy.
We also invite parents and members of the community to special Collective Worships throughout the year. These include Harvest, carol services, Mothering Sunday, Ash Wednesday and a termly Eucharist. Year 6 children are encouraged to help and take part in the Eucharist.
